Warranty, Repairs & Damage Support

Last update: 14/06/2026

Our products are made to be used.

Most Decent Simulators products are designed with replaceable and repairable components. If something gets damaged or does not perform as expected, our first step is to understand the issue and determine the most appropriate solution.

In many cases, the affected component can be repaired or replaced without replacing the entire trainer.

How to Report Damage

If your model is damaged or not performing as expected, please complete our Initial Damage Assessment form:

Please include clear photographs of the affected area where possible.

After reviewing the information, we will advise on the next step. This may include repair guidance, replacement parts, further assessment, or inspection.

In some cases, we may ask you to complete a more detailed Damage Report:

This helps us better understand unusual issues, unsuccessful repair attempts, or cases where inspection or replacement may be required.

6-Month Warranty Including Accidental Damage

For the first 6 months from the date of purchase, our warranty covers manufacturing defects and accidental damage occurring during normal training use.

If an issue occurs, we will first assess the damage and determine the most appropriate solution. Where practical, we will always try to resolve issues through repair before considering replacement.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

  • repair guidance

  • replacement parts

  • inspection and repair

  • replacement of the affected component

  • replacement of the trainer where other solutions are not practical

This warranty does not cover deliberate damage, misuse, or use clearly outside the intended training purpose of the product.

2-Year Manufacturing Defect Warranty

Our standard limited warranty remains in effect for 2 years from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in silicone and 3D-printed components.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the affected component at no cost to the customer.

The standard limited warranty does not cover:

  • accidental damage after the first 6 months

  • normal wear from repeated training use

  • consumable components

  • damage caused by incorrect use, storage, cleaning, or repair

  • damage caused by use outside the product's intended training purpose

  • cosmetic marks that do not affect functionality

Replacement parts and repair services may still be available for issues outside the warranty period.

Consumable Components

Some components are expected to wear during normal training use and are considered consumables.

Depending on the product, this may include replaceable skins, membranes, puncture areas, cuttable components, and other parts intended to be replaced during normal use.

Consumable components are not covered under the standard limited warranty.

Returns for Inspection

Occasionally, we may ask for a component to be returned for inspection.

This helps us better understand the issue, determine the most appropriate solution, and identify opportunities for product improvement.

Please do not return products or components unless requested by our team.

Shipping and Returns

Shipping arrangements depend on the nature of the issue and the solution required.

In many cases, issues can be resolved without returning the product. If a component needs to be returned for inspection, repair, or replacement, we will advise you of the next steps and any applicable shipping arrangements.

Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed under warranty, Decent Simulators will cover reasonable shipping costs associated with the approved warranty claim.

For issues outside the warranty period or outside warranty coverage, shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Proof of Purchase

To assess a warranty claim, we may ask for:

  • order number

  • product code

  • purchase date

  • invoice or receipt

  • photographs or videos of the issue

  • details of how the product was being used
