Cricothyroidotomy task trainer
A practical, repairable trainer for repeated needle and surgical cricothyroidotomy practice.
The model includes a mobile larynx and key anatomical landmarks, allowing learners to identify the airway using palpation and practise the laryngeal handshake before performing front-of-neck access.

The larynx remains mobile within the neck, allowing learners to locate and stabilise it before performing the procedure.
Internal Camera View
A borescope camera provides a view from inside the airway.
This allows instructors to review incision depth, instrument position and the direction of airway tube insertion - including errors that may be difficult to identify from the outside.
Replaceable Tissues
The trainer is designed around inexpensive, replaceable consumable parts.
Neck skins, fat pads, blood-filled pads and the cricothyroid membrane can be replaced individually after repeated use rather than replacing the complete trainer.
The cricothyroid membrane uses readily available tape, helping keep the cost of repeated procedures low.
Simulated Bleeding
Blood-filled pads can be added beneath the tissue layers to introduce bleeding during the procedure and increase the difficulty of the scenario.
