Make the most of v2: modules for the airway training platform
We've recently been spotlighting the modules you can add to the V2 Airway Management Platform. With these features, you can easily switch the scenario and difficulty to your training needs.
Add simulated blood and secretions to any V2 airway and practise suction-assisted laryngoscopy and airway decontamination (SALAD).
Turn the V2 into a bronchoscopy trainer. Use it to practise bronchoscope navigation, explore bronchial anatomy and train with simulated mucus, secretions and foreign bodies.
The bronchial tree extends to fourth-generation branches, giving learners detailed anatomy for scope navigation and orientation.
Separate the bronchial tree into sections, rinse the parts with water and reassemble them for the next session.
Add mucus plugs and foreign bodies to the bronchial tree.
Choose where the bleeding starts. Fit the tubing cap to the selected bronchial opening and add simulated blood during the scenario.
